“Anne and Drew were fantastic in helping my girlfriend and I purchase our first home. We had talked about becoming homeowners for a while but were pretty much clueless about the home buying process going into our search. Anne was friendly, professional, and responsive at all hours, day or night, which really helped ease us through what is ultimately a stressful and exciting time. Under her guidance we always felt comfortable, and that she was there for us when we had questions.

Our home buying search came during a time when the housing market was going totally crazy. Interest rates were hovering just below 3%, and as a result there was a huge surge in demand. Coupled with a real lack of inventory, and we were shocked to see houses routinely receiving as many as 26 offers and going anywhere from 50K-125k over asking on a regular basis. Anne was there with us through 7 rejected offers and she did a great job of explaining how to field a competitive offer without ever pressuring us into making an offer we were not comfortable with. We are extremely thankful that she was always understanding and supportive without putting pressure on us to buy something we would not be able to afford.

I also need to mention her tireless support on our behalf when we finally got an offer accepted, but ultimately walked away from the deal due to a dispute with the sellers. After months of following us around to open houses we finally managed to land a small home. However due to issues discovered during inspection and unwillingness on the part of the sellers to negotiate, we ultimately walked away from the deal. Anne worked hard to make the deal happen, battling with the sellers and encouraging us to stick to our guns and not give in to their demands to overlook the issues we uncovered. When we were ultimately unable to come to a satisfactory resolution, Anne wholeheartedly supported our decision, even though it was in her own self-interest to advocate for us to stay in the deal. Her willingness to not only support, but to actively help us back out of a deal that was not right for us speaks to how willing she is to put her clients interests ahead of her own. She was right back out with us the very next weekend looking at open houses and two weeks later she helped us land a home which we are ultimately much happier with.
